Keep a daily wellness log

Log water, steps, calories, sleep, exercise, mood, and a note each day. The log autosaves as you go and earns 5 XP once per day.

Last updated July 15, 2026

The wellness log is one place to record how a day went physically and mentally: what you drank, how you moved, what you ate, how you slept, and how you felt. One log per day, a handful of fields, no ceremony.

What you can log each day

  • Water — how much you drank.
  • Steps — how much you walked.
  • Calories — your intake for the day.
  • Sleep — how you slept.
  • Exercise — your exercise for the day.
  • Mood — a 1 to 5 scale.
  • Note — free text for anything worth remembering about the day.

Log what matters to you and ignore the rest. Empty fields are fine.

The log autosaves

There is no save button to remember. Change a value and it is stored automatically. That makes partial logging natural: water at lunch, steps in the evening, mood before bed. Each edit saves on its own, so the log is always as complete as your day so far.

Set goals in Settings

Daily goals live in Settings. Set targets for the numbers you care about so each entry has something to aim at — goals give the raw numbers context.

A snapshot on the dashboard

A wellness snapshot also lives on the dashboard, so today's numbers sit alongside your tasks and habits. You do not need to open the wellness page just to see where the day stands.

XP once per day

Logging wellness earns 5 XP, once per day. The first log of the day pays; further edits the same day do not pay again. That one action is enough to keep your streak alive on rest days when no tasks get completed.

"Per day" means per UTC calendar day — the same day boundary Dongu uses everywhere. The full rules for XP, streaks, and daily caps are in how XP, levels and streaks work.

Wellness and habits together

The log records outcomes; habits track intentions. If you find yourself logging the same positive action day after day — exercise, reading before bed — consider promoting it to a habit with a weekly target, so it gets its own grid and its own XP.
