Tasks
Capture it, sort it, finish it.
A task in Dongu carries everything you need to finish it: notes, a due date, a priority, a color-coded category, tags, subtasks and a time estimate. Write it in seconds, then work it in whichever view fits the day.
- Quick add from anywhere: press q and type
- Subtasks, notes, priorities, categories and tags on every task
- Recurring tasks: daily, weekly, monthly or every N days
- Reminders with browser notifications and an optional daily email digest
- Archive instead of delete, so finished work still counts in your statistics
- Manual ordering with drag and drop or the keyboard
One task, every detail
Break big tasks into subtasks and tick them off one by one. Estimated minutes tell you what a task will cost, priorities and color-coded categories keep the list readable, and tags cut across projects when one label is not enough. Voice dictation can fill in the title on supported browsers.
Repeat without re-typing
Make any task recurring: daily, weekly, monthly or every N days. Complete one and Dongu creates the next occurrence with a fresh checklist, so you never rewrite a routine.
Finished work goes to the archive
Dongu archives tasks instead of deleting them, so your lists stay clean while every completion keeps counting toward your statistics, XP and streak history. One click archives everything you have finished.
Frequently asked questions
Can I recover an archived task?
Yes. Archived tasks live in the Archive view and you can restore any of them at any time. Dongu archives instead of deleting, so nothing is lost.
Can I reorder tasks without a mouse?
Yes. In manual order the drag handle is a focusable button, so Arrow Up and Arrow Down move the task, and every task's menu has Move up and Move down.
