Create your Dongu account

Dongu is a task manager and daily planner that runs in any modern browser at todongu.com. Registering takes an email address and a password. No credit card is required, and every new account starts with a 15-day free trial.

Register and verify your email

Sign up on the registration page with your email address and a password. Register with an address you actually check: password resets arrive by email, and friends add you on Dongu using the exact email you registered with.

After you register, Dongu sends a verification email. You can use the app right away, but a banner reminds you to verify until you confirm the address. The banner has a resend button if the first email does not arrive. Check your spam folder as well.

What the 15-day trial includes

The trial is full access, not a limited preview. For 15 days you can use everything in Dongu: tasks, habits, the wellness log, focus sessions, countdowns, shared boards, statistics, and the XP system.

When the trial ends, your account becomes read-only. Your data stays visible and is never deleted. You can subscribe whenever you are ready and continue where you left off. Pricing, including the founder offer for early subscribers, is covered in trial and subscription.

Suggested first steps

A few minutes of setup make the first week smoother.

1. Add a few real tasks. Press q anywhere in the app, or use quick add in the top bar. Type a title, and give each task a due date so it lands in the right place.
2. Create a category or two. Categories are color-coded, so work and personal tasks stay visually separate in every view.
3. Pick your language. Dongu supports eight languages and follows your browser language by default. You can override that in Settings — see choose your language.
4. Set your theme. Dongu follows your system's light or dark preference. A toggle in the top bar switches themes at any time.

Completing your first task also earns your first XP. Levels, streaks, achievements, and weekly challenges build on that from day one.

If something goes wrong

If the verification email never arrives, use the resend button in the banner first. If you still cannot verify or sign in, reach the team through the contact form or by emailing hello@todongu.com.

Account deletion works the same way: contact support and ask for your account to be deleted.
